Police commandos have arrested three persons with a stock of ICE (crystal methamphetamine) and Kerala cannabis. The suspects work for two organised criminals and drug traffickers who run the drug network in Sri Lanka, from abroad, according to the police.

During two separate raids, conducted in Gampaha and Seeduwa, recently, the STF seized 145.2 kilos of Kerala ganja, 320 g of ICE hidden in a plastic container, three mobile phones, two bank cards, two digital scales and Rs. 21,500.00 in cash.

The suspects, residents of Hanwella, Udugampola and Kotugoda, have been handed over to the Police Narcotics Bureau for further investigation.

Police said the drugs belonged to some wanted criminals named Koralagamage Mandidu Pathmasiri Perera and Sigankutty Arachchige Kushan Avishka Wimalasiri. They are currently running the drug network in Sri Lanka from abroad, according to investigators.
