Fuel prices including 92 Octane petrol reduced
The Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (Ceypetco) announced a fuel price reduction, including the price of the widely used 92 Octane petrol.
However, 92 Octane petrol was reduced by just Rs. 3 per litre while 95 Octane petrol was reduced by Rs. 20.
The price of the widely used 92 Octane petrol was not reduced in the most recent fuel price revision drawling angry reactions from motorists.
Ceypetco on Tuesday announced it has reduced the price of 92 Octane petrol by Rs. 3 per litre and the new price is Rs. 368.
It also said that the price of Petrol 95 Octane has been reduced by Rs. 20, Auto Diesel by Rs. 30, Super diesel by Rs. 9, and Kerosene by Rs. 30.
Lanka Indian Oil Corporation (LIOC) said that it has also revised the price of fuel in line with the price reduction announced by Ceypetco. (Colombo Gazette)
