Wanshappriya winner of the men’s standard race  

H.K.N. Wanshappriya clinched the title of the Men’s Standard 38 kilometres race as Sri Lanka Army made a clean sweep in that disciple of the Nestomalt Cycling Challenge 2022 conducted at the Viharamahadevi Park, Colombo on Sunday.

Wanshappriya stopped the clock at 58 minutes and 45 seconds to win as fellow Army cyclists Dilshan Vijitha Kumara and Chamara Madushan settled for the second and third positions respectively.

Supun Madusanka and Pubudu Maduranga also from Army settled for the fourth and fifth positions.

The Nestomalt Cycling Challenge 2022, organized by the Cycling Federation of Sri Lanka under the guidance of the Ministry of Youth and Sports was held for the second consecutive year. The event was sponsored by Nestle’s flagship brand – Nestomalt.

Men’s Standard 38 kilometres race was one of the seven races of the Nestomalt Cycling Challenge 2022.
