Sri Lanka debt office raises 21 pct of required debt via T-bills
ECONOMYNEXT – Sri Lanka raised 16 billion rupees out of required 75 billion rupees via Treasury bills at a weekly auction on Wednesday (19) with largest portion came short tenure 3-month papers amid the yields across the tenures remained unchanged, data from the state debt office showed.
The debt office raised 14.3 billion rupees through 3-month bills at 33.05 percent, after offering 30 billion rupees.
Only 461 million rupees was raised via 6-month bills at 32.53 percent after offering 25 billion rupees.
Debt office raised 1.3 billion rupees via 12-month bills at 29.60 percent after offering 20 billion rupees (Colombo/Oct 19/2022)
