Miss World Tourism 2023 – in Colombo

Recently Fairway Colombo Hotel, hosted the esteemed Miss World Tourism 2023 pageant. The spectacular event took place outdoors on Hospital Street, the vibrant venue where the famous Fairway Street food festival is held every month. The pageant attracted contestants from more than 30 countries, who dazzled the audience.

With their grace and charm these beauties showcased exquisite bridal wear, swimwear, evening wear, and smart casual wear.

The highlight of the evening was the crowning of the coveted Fairway Queen title, on beautiful Kao Mangjung, who represented Taiwan. The prestigious honour not only recognized her beauty but also symbolised the celebration of diversity and cultural exchange among nations. This remarkable event was not only aimed at promoting tourism in Sri Lanka’s but also served as a platform to uplift the Sri Lankan fashion industry and promote talented local designers on the global stage.

The General Manager Of Fairway Colombo Hotel Saman Perera expressed its utmost delight in hosting this pageant, extending heartfelt gratitude to the organisers, local police, and other authorities for their support and cooperation, which played a vital role in making the event an overwhelming success.
