Sebastianites headed Group A of the SLC Major Clubs 50-Overs Tournament with 10 points from 7 games having won 4 and lost 1 for a net run rate 1.013 with Negombo in second place with 9 points from 6 outings having won 4 and lost 1 in pushing Colts CC also with 9 points to third place on better net run rate of 1.076. Colts had a 0.810 net run rate having won 4 and lost 1 from 6 games.

Meanwhile, SSC led Group B with 11 points from 7 outings with 5 wins, 1 loss for net run rate of 0.776 while Chilaw Marins was in second place with 9 points from 7 with 4 wins, 2 losses for net run rate of 0.266 in edging Bloomfield also 9 points on faster run rate. Bloomfield won 3, lost 1 for net run rate of 0.260.
