Placards condemning govt. found inside parliament

The police Special Task Force yesterday found seven placards and posters condemning the government for its attempts to shield the masterminds of the Easter Sunday terror attacks, hidden under the desks of some Opposition MPs in the Parliament chamber.

The detection of the posters was made prior to the commencement of yesterday’s parliamentary sitting.The placards were handed over to the Parliament police for further investigation.

The police have been tasked by their senior officers to find who smuggled in the placards into the chamber.Parliament is debating Easter Sunday terror attacks. The three-day debate commenced on Wednesday in response to a motion moved by the SJB.
