Sri Lanka banking system sound, Central Bank rejects S&P assessment

Jun 21, Colombo: Sri Lanka's Central Bank strongly disputed the assessment made by the rating agency Standard and Poor placing the country's banking system in a 'very high risk category' and assured the public that Sri Lanka has a sound banking system.
