Burbank Water and Power hopes displays will help people conserve

The Burbank utility plans to equip some customers with picture-frame-like devices tied to 'smart meters' that will let them keep track of their water and electricity use.

A few dozen Burbank residents will soon be equipped with digital display devices that will help them track how much energy and water they're using and what it will cost.
