First Futurex Trade Fair opens in Colombo

Secretary Defence and Urban Development Mr. Gotabaya Rajapaksa declared open the first Futurex Trade Fair at the BMICH in Colombo this morning.

The Trade Fair provides a platform to showcase new developments and products the Glass and the fenestration industry – the suppliers of doors, windows, hardware, accessories and aluminum extrusions from around the world. The show features the latest technology in doors, windows, hardware, machinery and accessories from over 150 brands and companies from across the world. This will also be an excellent launching pad introduce new products and service in the related industry. The trade fair is expected to attract thousands of visitors both local and foreign.

The trade fair will bring a host of manufacturers, dealers, Architects, builders, designers, promoters and other industry related experts together, build cooperation and share experience and knowledge in order to expand and develop the industry in country.
A seminar is also scheduled to be held during the course of the fair. The event will draw to a close on Monday.
