Foreign Ministers of the G-15 countries meet in New York to deliberate on the responsibility of the member nations in the face of global challenges.
The discussions were held at the United Nations Head Office in New York. The entire world is confronting several economic and political challenges. Chairing the meeting, Minister Prof. G.L. Peiris said that the Foreign Ministers of the G-15 nations met at a decisive moment, the world economy was directed to the developing world.
Among those present at the meeting was Sri Lanka’s permanent representative to the United Nations in Geneva Ravinatha Ariyasinghe.
