South Korea arrests the captain of the Ship that capsized
South Korea has arrested the captain of the ship that has capsized resulting in nearly 300 persons gone missing or dead, for negligence.
The arrest has been made in the early hours of Saturday.
Lee Joon has been arrested on five charges including, negligence of duty and the violation of maritime law. Along with him, the third mate of the ship, a 25 year old women too has been arrested.
The ferry was mostly carrying students of a South Korean high school, who were on a school trip.
The ferry capsized a few days ago in the South Korean seas.
