'Gold Centre; in Pettah opens on Sept.5
The ceremonial opening of the 'Gold Centre' will be held on 5th September with the participation of the Minister of Economic Development Basil Rajapaksa.
The Gold Centre project was established at a cost of Rs.400 million at the former St.John's Fish market in Pettah.
The five storied building will house 83 gem and jewellery stalls, banks, food courts and a branch of the National Gem and Jewellery Authority.
The internal arrangement of the complex comprises with state-of-art facilities provided with a unique security system to make it a secure place and it has also been designed with a spacious car park.(KH)
