Jim is no stranger to the local entertainment and jazz scene and returning after a four month stint in London, performing at famous Ronnie Scott’s Jazz club and other venues, now performs at Curve Bar on Thursdays. He brings his smooth sounds and exceptional repertoire on sax to Curve Bar, from 10 p.m. onwards.
Originally from Melbourne and working as a professional saxophonist and pianist at 17 yrs, his musical career extended from Sydney Australia to KL, Vietnam, Bangkok, London and Colombo. He has performed alongside the Australian jazz greats as James Morrison, Paul Grabowsky, Scott Tinkler, Bob Sedergreen and more. He toured Australia with The Temptations and the Four Tops. Jim has experience on other genres, as rock, pop, Salsa, funk and r’n B.
