AmCham Sri Lanka President Suren Rajanathan said: “The AmCham Golf Tournament has been a tremendous success throughout 14 consecutive years. Over the past 14 years the funds raised from the tournament have helped and supported different charitable projects.

“We are pleased to partner with Future Automobiles Ltd. on the 15th year of the tournament as they too make their mark in the automobile industry with a top-of-the-range brand such as Ford.”
Future Automobiles is a fully-owned subsidiary of Softlogic Holdings Plc and is the authorised dealer for Ford in Sri Lanka.
A state-of-the-art 3s facility encompassing sales, service and spare parts was launched in June 2014. It consists of a showroom and after-sales facility which would establish a new benchmark for automotive dealerships.
SoftLogic Holdings Plc Automotive Sector CEO Suminda De Silva stated that Ford and Softlogic Group are privileged to be associated with both AmCham and the RCGC.

“This was our first association with Sri Lankan golfing and a deviation from our traditional association with motorsports. We trust this will be a mutually rewarding relationship going forward,” he said.
As in the past, a portion of the proceeds from the tournament will go towards a RCGC-nominated charity and the recipient this year is the Navodhya Foundation.
Also partnering AmCham at this year’s event was Cinnamon Air.
