The Nations Corporate Rally is expected to flag off at the Nations Trust Bank office premises at Nawam Mawatha with over 50 teams competing. It will be run entirely on roads open to normal traffic according to the TSD (Time, Speed and Distance) format with route instructions communicated through a specially designed mobile app which will guide the teams by providing them with information about the route and tasks. The finish line will be at the Jetwing Blue in Negombo.
Commenting on the event, Commercial Banking Deputy General Manager Ramanika Unamboowe stated: “The response for participation was overwhelming and we are all very excited that some of Sri Lanka’s top corporates will compete in this first-ever rally to be run digitally, using a mobile app. I am sure that the participants will have a lot of fun finding their way to the final destination.”
