Oriflame Sri Lanka launches ‘The ONE’

Oriflame Sri Lanka launched The ONE, an addition to the Oriflame product range, yesterday at the JAIC Hilton Hotel in Colombo.
Bollywood diva Huma Qureshi will be the face of the brand’s colour cosmetic range The ONE.
Oriflame is a direct selling company dealing mainly with cosmetics. Founded in 1967 and listed on the NASDAQ OMX, it has a wide portfolio of products and sells more than 900 products in different countries with different categories and segments. Oriflame’s brand has a unique identity in people’s minds and is working towards maintaining that positive perception.
Oriflame’s annual sales total € 1.4 billion and there are 3.5 million Oriflame consultants across the world in more than 60 countries..
The skincare category is the biggest and best performing one and it makes up 21% of annual sales. The biggest attractions are colour cosmetics which make up 24% of total annual sales. Fragrances are also popular in Sri Lanka, comprising 20% of annual sales.

Oriflame does not only promote beauty but also considers health and wellness and it makes up 5% of annual sales, while the accessories category contributes 10% to sales.

Oriflame Director of Sales in India and Sri Lanka, Pradnya Deshpande stated that this year has been filled with significant developments for Oriflame, from its entry into the hair colour segment through its current product portfolio. He said the company was pleased to announce that Huma Qureshi was the brand ambassador for The ONE because she was an Asian icon who perfectly reflected the values of the brand.
The versatile new makeup range consists of a selection of must-have cosmetics to enhance the beauty regime. With three new beauty ranges – Every Day Beauty, High Impact and Long Wear – there is something for everyone, Deshpande said.
