Model homes and leisure facilities within Templer’s Square, a Rs. 2-billion residential complex located in the heart of Mount Lavinia, will be unveiled very shortly. A total of 57 houses available within Templer’s Square have already been purchased and the majority of these houses are currently under construction.

Located at De Soysa Mawatha, Mount Lavinia, Templer’s Square provides families with an exclusive, quality home within a safe gated environment. The project comprises 100 landscaped houses with a mixture of two- to four-bedroom homes and plot sizes starting from six perches upwards.
The leisure facilities now under construction include the swimming pool, gymnasium, sauna, children’s play area, restaurant and laundry. Potential customers are welcome to visit Templer’s Square on any day of the week between 8.30 a.m. and 5.00 p.m. or visit by appointment within these hours. Customers are able to personalise the details of their homes by selecting their own plots and preferred house design. The development is located in close proximity to many schools, restaurants, shopping centres and attractions in Colombo and its suburbs.

Commenting on the progress of Templer’s Square, Kelsey Homes General Manager Chaminda Jayasuriya stated: “The development of Templer’s Square is well underway and we are receiving a continuous flow of enquiries for homes. Kelsey Homes is one of the most trusted housing brands in the market and the demand for homes within the exclusive Templer’s Square development has been growing. Potential customers are welcome to visit our model homes on site or contact our team to find out more information.”
Templer’s Square is designed by Murad Ismail, a renowned architect who has designed many beautiful homes and hotels around the world including the Four Seasons Resort Landaa located in Giraavaru, Maldives.

Speaking about the design of the homes, Ismail said: “The design of each home within Templer’s Square is spacious and open. Earthy colours have been used throughout the homes to maintain a natural and tranquil look and feel. I believe in creating homes rather than simply building houses. Although Templer’s Square has been designed to suit its location and the needs of homeowners, buyers also have the opportunity to get involved in the design of their homes. This enables each homeowner to create a more personalised space that they can call home.”
Templer’s Square is part of Kelsey Homes Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of the listed company Kelsey Developments Plc. Established in 1983, Kelsey Homes strives to be a trusted leader in creating better built environments and has 30 years of experience in the real estate industry.
The mission of the company is to convert clients’ architectural needs and desires into conceptual designs and constructively develop them into a reality that provides a valuable return on investment. As a reflection of the company’s confidence and commitment, all homes include a 10-year warranty on the structure and a 12-month defects liability period.
