Prices of rice & bakery products educed
It has been decided to reduce the prices of tea, hoppers, koththu and rice parcels states the convener of All Ceylon Canteen Owners' Association Asela Sampath. Accordingly, the prices of a parcel of rice and a koththu would be reduced by Rs.10 while a cup of tea and a hopper would be available at Rs.10 each.
Meanwhile, prices of all what flour products would be reduced by Rs.1 to Rs.5 from tomorrow states the President of All Ceylon Bakery Owners M.K. Jayawardena.
People have been given these benefits as the taxes of several commodities were reduced by the interim budget presented by the Maithripala Sirisena government.
