Softlogic to distribute Whirlpool home appliances

Whirlpool, one of the world’s foremost global appliance brands this week announced it has entered into an agreement with Softlogic Retail Ltd, a fully owned subsidiary of Softlogic Holdings PLC to market and distribute Whirlpool products in Sri Lanka.
The world renowned brand has confirmed that they will come on board with Softlogic with their entire range of products from built-in kitchen appliances, washing machines, dryers, refrigerators, freezers, ice makers, dishwashers, cookers, microwaves, air conditioners, water purifiers and more.
Whirlpool is by far the ‘Number one major appliance manufacturer in the world’, with approximately $ 24 billion in annual sales, 100,000 employees and 70 manufacturing and technology research centres throughout the world in 2014.
