Sri Lankan great Muttiah Muralitharan has sounded a warning to the other teams ahead of next month s T20 World Cup, saying they will have to be careful against Wanindu Hasaranga as the spinner would be a threat on Australian pitches.

Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) today announced the squad selected by its selection committee to take part in the ICC Men s T20 World Cup 2022.
Former Sri Lanka captain Mahela Jayawardena is to join the Sri Lanka cricket team as a consultant coach for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup in Australia. The Sri Lanka Cricket board said that Jayawardena will join the team in Australia next month. Jayawardene had recently taken up a broader role
