Labour Tribunal of Kalutara, Sri Lanka has ruled that the British Broadcasting Corporation s (BBC) decision to prematurely terminate the contract of top journalist Azzam Ameen was unreasonable and unjustifiable .
The British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) has been ordered to pay Rs 4.5 million to Sri Lankan journalist Azzam Ameen as compensation. The Labour Tribunal of Kalutara, Sri Lanka had earlier ruled that the BBC’s decision to prematurely end the contract of journalist Azzam Ameen
