‘The Scholarly Discourse on Indian Literature’ – Monthly Lecture 6

Under the title of ‘The Scholarly Discourse on Indian Literature,’ the 6th lecture will be held on 22nd September 2022, at 4:00pm, at the Centre for Contemporary Indian Studies [CCIS], University of Colombo, to mark the 10th anniversary of the CCIS, and the 75th anniversary of the Independence of India. The sixth lecture will be delivered by veteran literate Dr. W. A. Abeysinha on ‘The Impact of South Indian writer R. K. Narayan’s Literary Contribution on Sinhala Readership’.

This scholarly lecture series has been organized by the CCIS to strengthen the academic ties between India and Sri Lanka, under the guidance of Chair Senior Professor Upul Ranjith Hewawitanagamage (Director, CCIS).
