Sri Lanka U19 batsman Dinura Kalupahana 150 and West Indies U19 Jordan Johnson 149 stole the limelight for their batting feats while the locals Vihas Thewmika shone with the ball claiming 6 wickets for 78 in the drawn three-day first Youth Test between the two countries played at the Rangiri Dambulla International Cricket Stadium.

Sri Lanka U19 batting first ran up 432 for 8 wickets declared with Kalupahana striking 150 off 229 balls inclusive of 16 boundaries and 2 sixes.

 West Indies U19 responded with 309 with Jordan Johnson making 149 off 207 balls hitting 11 boundaries and 2 sixes. Vihas Thewmika took 6 for 78 off 24 overs while Vishwa Lahiru claimed 3 for 61 for the locals.

Sri Lanka U19 were 122 for 4 wickets off 25 overs when stumps were drawn.
