The prices of Litro liquefied petroleum (LP) gas cylinders will be reduced with effect from midnight tomorrow (03), according to Litro chairman Muditha Peiris.
The Meteorology Department has issued heat index advisories for Northern, North-central, Western, Sabaragamuwa, Eastern, Southern and North-Western provinces and Monaragala district. The advisory is effective for tomorrow (May 03).

The Committee on Public Finance (CoPF) has approved, subject to conditions, the Recovery of Loans by Banks (Special Provisions) (Amendment) Bill which was amended to facilitate legal provisions for the suspension of Parate Law until December 15.
