Minister of Power and Energy Kanchana Wijesekera today requested the public not to panic over any fuel shortages as the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (Ceypetco) and Lanka IOC have adequate stocks of fuel.

The Ceylon Petroleum Corporation and Lanka IOC have announced that their retail fuel price will be revised from midnight today (31) Accordingly the new retail price of fuel (per liter) will be, Octane 92 petrol – Rs. 318 Octane 95 petrol – Rs. 385 Lanka Super Diesel – Rs. 340
